CreateSF is so excited to be hosting a wellness panel on Thursday March 15th! They've gathered a few of their favorite health professionals from a variety of backgrounds to answer your questions, provide insight and share their health and wellness tips. From fitness and nutrition to herbal and Chinese medicine, the panelists will aim to answer the question, "What does it mean to be healthy?"

This month's event will take place at Laundré, a modern approach to the laundromat with an open and inviting space featuring sustainable laundry equipment, a full-scale coffee bar and communal seating.

Light refreshments and Health-Ade Kombucha will be provided. Coffee and other beverages from the Laundré cafe will be available for purchase.

Meet The Panelists!

Liz Letchford is a passionate and light-hearted coach who draws from her unique and diverse experience in the fields of healthcare and movement sciences. She works one-on-one with clients to address their postural issues to help them decrease pain and achieve their fitness and movement goals. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer who is currently pursuing her PhD in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics. Her passion for injury prevention and education led her to The Assembly where she is excited for the opportunity to share her expertise, humor, and knowledge during her signature mobility and recovery class, “The Release”.

Karinn Gallagher, L.Ac, is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Massage Therapist living in San Francisco. Her passion for Sports Medicine and Pain Management is only met by her love of all things Fertility. Applying her knowledge through Abdominal Massage, Acupuncture, and Herbal Medicine, Karinn sees women and men for a spectrum of conditions related to reproductive health. Karinn customizes her skill set to provide individuals with the most effective treatments, meeting people where they are, and developing goals which restore balance and joy.

Liz O'Carroll has been passionate about nutrition and wellness ever since she moved to California 12 years ago and began discovering the transformative power of healthier lifestyle choices. Liz’s complicated and eye-opening path to wellness inspired her to start Misfit Wellness - a social platform, website and health coaching practice dedicated to providing the basic necessities to navigate our wellness journeys: the simple tools, accessible resources, digestible knowledge and most importantly, camaraderie that makes wellness feel possible.

Lara Williams As a certified botanical nutritionist with a degree in health sciences, Lara considers herself an urban hippie and a devout advocate for the revival of natural wellness modalities. She was born and raised in the green lands of New Zealand and has since spent the past 10 years in 6 countries gathering a plethora of health and lifestyle knowledge which has lead her to the biggest adventure yet. Last year Lara launched her wellness company Willness Co with the intention to encourage us all to rewild and thrive with the support of beautifully curated medicinal herbal elixirs.
